Idk, the fact that Father just sat around and ate a ton of ice cream after being dismissed by grandfather is a funny image to me. Like he fully just gave up and his first thought was drown his sorrows in ice cream. Although that made me think. If he made such a mess without bothering to clean up after himself, how would Linda react? Why questioning whether her own mother was correct about always questing her choices and looking down on Ben for being a coward.
