Description
I keep my porch light on at all times.

In the evening, the light shines through a half-circle window cut into the front door.

This light lands on a wall to the left of the entryway.

It is so bright, that it becomes a reflection in the glass of my backdoor.

In that reflection, the light is distorted and blue.

It looks like a hitchhiker sticking out his thumb.

Some nights, the only thing that keeps me from going to bed in pieces is taking the time to give my hitchhiker a smile and thumbs up in return.
