My Luminoth cosplay so far. Yes, it is a struggle to build and I can only hope it gets done in time. This is just the upper torso of the cosplay, with the mask of course. The two aren't connected and are both separate pieces. Believe it or not the torso is created from a cardboard based frame, and I then covered it in newspaper. Think of it as...a piñata style. No...It doesn’t have candy inside if it, and it doesn't give you any beam ammo if you destroy it either. It’s not done yet, of course...thought I just show it in the process of being made. The fur is faux fur and I used clay, newspaper, cardboard, sand, etc. I’m hoping to get this son of a bitch done for ACen 2011. Oh whoops lol. Misunderstood you. Just toy around and look for a cheaper and easier way to make the cosplay. Thats what I did. I had a ton of cardboard lying around so I thought "...Hell, I'll use this!"

I'm going to admit, I'm not sure what it is, but it looks awesome. The fur job is pretty cool. I've been wanting to do some masks. Is it also paper mache?

...No offense but...you people are quick when it comes to comments... lol I just posted it. But thank you. The ball shoulders are going to be a pain in the ass to do...especially the arms. I have to make gloves specially made for three fingers. It'll be tricky but I will find a way.
