Description

Who knew almost being a vet would one day give me some extra time to draw? I drew this in one day, when I was on-call-duty for my ruminants internship. My got I love this internship, it has been so wonderfull and I learned so much on only one month! And during the on-call-weekends, I can not go horse riding because I need to be in the car within five minutes from beeing called. Which makes it the perfect time to finally get behind my laptop and draw again! Iam pretty pleased with the result and I really enjoyed drawing this, it is something I wanted to draw for a long time now!

Nerwens new obertaurer Pandemia was now at the Green Apple Stable for a few weeks. Up until now, Nerwen had slowly gotten to know the young wild child, getting her used to a halter, brushing and lunging. Soon enough Nerwen learned that the young mare was not interested in repeating the same thing over and over again, she quickly got bored and started to fool around when she was. So Nerwen had to come up with something new to teach Demia something more. She started y long walks through the neighberhood, getting her used to the busy streets and flat landscape of the Netherlands. But when Pandemia started to find that boring too, it was time for something new again. Nerwen decided it was time to combine too hobbies: Jogging and horses. And it was the sort of training the bay roan seemed to enjoy a whole lot. Nerwen could only smile as the youngling trotted along side her with her ears forward and head up high. It was still a little strange to work with this mare instead of her old boy silverfist... but they were getting along better and better, soon enough Nerwen felt like Pandemia would be ready for their first ride.
