This variant cover is based on Steve Ditko's cover from Space Adventures #19 from 1954. Anthony Feinman got inspiration from a vintage coloring book. Originally, this was going to be the cover for ASININE #1 but it was put aside for the painted cover by Julie Rebecca Simack.
