It's about the link between the real world and the abstract world...The way we deal with dreams and hopes...
Inspiration and art...
(Symbolized by his creative and unreal verion of ourself called anima or animus)
And in the other way (symbolized by roots witch attach us the floor, on the concrete and real world, in a down-to-earth way)
It is necessary to know how to find the balance between the real and the unreal world

En fait c'est plutΓ΄t l'Anima de la fille ou "self" en terme de psychanalise Γ§a dΓ©signe Γ la fois le Moi, le Γ§a et une partie du Surmoi. C'est la partie la plus crΓ©atrice de notre personnalitΓ©, c'est celle qui imagine, qui joue. En gros un reflet dont la crΓ©ativitΓ© serai sans borne mais qui n'aurais aucune notion de la rΓ©alitΓ©.

Great piece, also completely agree with your description on this as i think this neither world is where the artists lives, I know I do.
I feel constantly delving into the imaginary dragging out ideas into the real world in paint on canvas, words on paper. It's a little retreat inside my mind I would be lost without.
