OMG SO MANY LINES ;A;Thousands and thousands of lines... I will never draw a line again u.u
Anyways XDD
I thought I'd try something different from a pencil sketch, so I tried a pen sketch XDD
This is my OC, Seda, I did a digital one of him too, but was a bit hard to see details :I
And yes.. I'm in traditional phase at the moment.. PROBLEM?
Having counted all my pen sketches, this is my third piece, so I'm relatively new at using pens ;u;
It's a bit blurred to the left side, where the ring binder is, but I can't do much about that <:/
And my signature is to the bottom left, and no matter how many times I re-scanned the bloody thing, it never seemed to get it >.<
Good gracious, bloody scanners these days XDD
Because of college, I won't be posting much, so enjoy this until I can make something else :I
Took me round about 7 hours, on and off XD I didn't get distracted by the internet or anything ._.

I've been drawing alot recently.. Especially traditional.. I haven't touched my tablet in about three days <:/

u certainly worked hard on this, the detail would have been murderous, but the effort u put into this, is truly inspiring as it shows your dedication to create art

...Let me just mention you are the master of cross-hatch shading.
And I really love the flowy bandages on that one horn.
If I could give any kind of critique, it would be that there doesn't seem to be a direction of motion- his hair is going everywhere, and part of the bandages are kind of flowing down, and the other are going up quickly, if that makes sense. Think of it like the motion of his head- the bottom half of his bandages are stressed, and the tassles are moving like he's jerking his head up or moving quickly in an upward direction, and from that perspective, the loose bandage on the top shouldn't be floating like that.
I don't know if the weightlessness was intentional or not since you're usually really good with hair and cloth flow direction, but the longer I looked at it the more it seemed off to me.

It's not a piece that conveys motion, it's just to show his 'personality'. If you look at he previous picture I've drawn, it shows that his hairstyle seems to have a mind of it's own. Mainly because he isn't one person, he's three, so all the elements are showing each of the three people he is.
Everything you see of him, even in this picture, shows a remnant of the people that were combined to create him. The Angel of Death (only soul in part), Skye (Human vessel that was used to carry Death's soul) and Seda himself (Product of the final result).
You see everything in every direction because each soul is trying to move it's own way, whilst also being tied down by Seda's control.
As the items that were formed are possessed by each of the three different souls, it creates a continual spiritual field around him that can also detect the presence of other souls (Being it's part his job to harvest them etc.)
Seda is basically a prison to whomever falls to his grasp, so he's always radiating energy, causing these items to appear to move X3

No problem! And, alright. When you explain it that way, it makes much more sense... I probably should've looked up the backstory of Seda first... that explaination makes it [seem to] go from a mistake to something carefully thought out... neat! >u<

All my characters have rather complicated backgrounds, it's a pain to explain them in the description XD
Also, I wouldn't see many people being interested in who he is, so really, it was my fault that you were mislead..
All the flowy things he wears kind of has it's own mind, like some sort of force field or something XDD

damn! Your good with grayscale, anyway, i remember when I had to do a work like this for school...but mine were in A2 sizes, I had to ask for help to finish, this and a work with dots, I hope yours were not in those scales xD
