I recently watched a playthrough of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance... and immediately wondered why I hadn't gotten into the Metal Gear series sooner.

Here's Samuel "Jetstream Sam" Rodrigues, the show-stealer and my favorite character from the game. He is literally a Brazillian Cyborg Samurai, with a really fun personality and cool yet subtle character arc. And has a kickass theme song too: youtu.be/KfwteoZCvoY

I was actually pretty proud of this sketch when I completed it. Sam's an older and more masculine character than I usually draw, and I've found I've been enjoying experimenting with how to draw both aspects in characters recently. I was also pleased that I was able to convey a fair bit of personality in his expression, I think...
