Thanks! It's really pleasing to hear people say that.
Did those params help much?

You are very welcome!
Thanks for those params - just finally got a chance to load them and play around a little tonight. Need more play time to yield something worthwhile. Did you need to go above 10000 quality setting when you rendered?

Nah, I usually render around 6000 quality. Celestial Impact turned out so grainy because I used so much Master Scale to zoom in.
Well, hope you can get somethin' good out of 'em.

We'll definitely give it a shot. Can I ask you a process question? When you create designs like this, are you doing using scripts or launching APo with specific variations and then adjusting them in the editor, etc... just curious (the later is definitely where I'm at at present and it tends to be pretty hit or miss at this stage...)

I spend almost all of my time in the Editor window... Mostly, I build fractals from scratch, but if I like a style, I might tweak flames that I've rendered before using new techniques I've learned. The only time I use scripts is when I want to see if anything interesting can come out of the Default Animation Script windnow, or if I want the settings used by the Plastic Script without having to go in and input all the values manually.
It's all about how which variations interact with others to create images: i.e. Linear + spherical = black holes; linear + spherical + ngon = black polygons, etc.

Thanks very much for the insight. So it sounds like there's hope then - am hoping to not have to delve into the script side of things at least too much. Sounds like it's mostly more experience and lot's of playing around.

I'll decode it's mysterious message yet.
