This is GREAT. I TOTALLY disagree with shirosynth and blindsleeper, it's PERFECT as it is. Leave the black solid, trust me

i have to agree with shirosynth, i love the part i can see but the overwhelming darkness is too much, at least some of the space needs to be filled in to balance it out....cheers though, i love that book!

i like it, but theres quite a bit of negative space in the image. Im assuming u meant the darkness to be so overwhelming, but it seems like it takes away from the composition as a whole. Even putting in images that are extremely faint in the dark would definately help it out, while maintaining the dark ambiance.
