HALT! Any anti-Zutara flames, sarcasm, and poop
will not be tolerated. I will not hold any discussions or flame wars about different couples. This deviation is for viewing pleasure, only.Well, I planned for this to be a two-page comic, but since I don't feel like relearning how to draw backgrounds, I had no choice but to make up something hastily drawn.
Don't worry, the second part will be up soon. You won't be disappointed. 
As a spur-of-the-moment thought, I just brainstormed a mini contest.

I love it. The emotion in both of their faces, the way that their clothes are battleworn, and Katara's pose. Great job on the background too.

Oh Gosh. The Zutara fanart- it's starting to seriously convert me from my neutral stance. Fanon Zutara is amazing as it is, and I kinda have an inner hope for the canon...
Enough of talking about what ship I'll choose, I'm very impressed with Zuko. I'm jealous of such skills! I sense purity- I have no clue why, but the face is so relaxed and dangerously pulling back.
Katara's own expression is incredible work, on your part. Those beautiful eyes pretty much reveal her whole feelings in a compact nutshell.
The background is lovely, too. Great job. It's so clean!
