This is the sequel to ~Insanity-24-7 's comic Retrospect . Please read her wonderful comic (and the Artist's Comments) first if you want to know what's going on.
This comic takes place several weeks after Galeforce's return , but during a little prank war between Sargeforce and Axis. Amidst the general chaos and superglue, Half Pint returns to the decepticon base, only to find her adoptive mama... not the mama she remembers.
(She handles it better than one would expect, though.)

I do wanna apologize for the coloring since I went with Sanity's advise and stuck with a selective color and grayscale theme. This is not only a time saver but also to save my brain meat the trouble of considering the lighting AND how the colors would effect them.
I warn you now, school rules my free time right now. I have a few pages nearly finished, but for now I'll leave you all with pages 1 and 2.

The selective color works with the tone of Retrodiction. It's black and white with juuuuust enough color to get your attention on the important parts/define who is who. Besides, think of all the Sin City jokes we can make.
I agree with everyone else that Axis looks fabulous (as per usual) but I keep coming back to that close up of Clyshot. I don't know why. Maybe because of the combination of a baby face and really angular horns.
One question, though. Is there a reason why Clyshot's words are different greens in different dialog chunks?
Wait, wait, I've got another question now. Can Clyshot sleep on his back or do his horns make it uncomfortable? *ttly frsrs*

As I told Aaron, I'm actually not to happy with him, but I guess I did SOMETHING right after redrawing him several times. I'm much happier with the new horn design. I feel it makes him look a touch more mature, but still young because of his face.
Ooooh, didn't see that. I actually had the text a bit darker and then re-did it so they were a brighter green. I must have missed one. Which chunk is a different shade?
I guess he'd sleep on his side or he'd have his arm cushioned on Axis' arm just right so the horns hang over the side. (HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THIS QUESTION? SRSLY?)

When I first read PAINT TUBE, I was really confused, lol.
Clyshot looks like he's in the tweeny stage of moving over to being grown up now. It works.
A while ago, Aaron showed me some sketches she did to try to figure out how Half Pint could sleep on her side and we made tons of jokes about the different ways different characters couldn't lie down. Idk. Clyshot just reminded me of that.

A monochromatic color scheme, aside from being a lot quicker, can look really nice! It's a nice contrast with the objects that do have color.

Honestly, I had to slip it in because of Dawn and the fact that Tik Tik is 'technically' a vampire just kinda adds to the irony of it.

I think that's half the fun, that there's so many underlying reasons it's a funny reference that the character isn't even aware of.
It looks like he is building something very specific. Is it plot important or did you totally trick me into think generi-object is cooler than it actually is?

I think that's what I miss the most about the chat rooms sometimes. I could make about as many references and it was okay if they flew over someone's head or if they got it. With comics I have to be a touch more careful. >>
It's a common generi-object now that I think about it . Dante couldn't fix it, so she sent it to Axis. ROFL
BTW, "Dig a Little Deeper" from Princess and the Frog came up on my Ipod a bajillion times today. Made me think of you since my mind somehow relates: Disney = Aaron.
