THREE years, averaging 80+ failed trips to get shots of Corfe Castle in Dorset with fog rolling around the hills.

It seems to be quite rare this scene crops up according to one of the locals which is no suprise. Every time we've had fog around, i've headed to this hill and NEVER had the right conditions. Until this morning.

This is the first shot from this morning that i've decided to submit. Its not the best shot from the collection (at least for me) but its the shot that i've always wanted to get.

Its a very cliched shot and its one thats been taken time and again, or at least to a similar extent but I don't care. This shot is one i've dreamed of taking ever since I started photography. I've tried to give it my own spin with a uncommon composition, using the castle on the right third and looking out towards Poole Harbour.
