I hate it when things get submitted out of order... This should've been submitted right after the "Jak split screen tossout".. only a few days later. I brainfarted and forgot to scan it.. although it was the whole reason for me getting the scanner out to begin with. The tossout was not only really bad, but it was done on copypaper.. I made a post on my LJ the other day..

15 spaces left in my sketchbook.. and two of them are reserved for my Jak peice.. I never draw on the backs.. sure.. wastes a bit of paper, but I dont want to jeopardize the integrity of the sketch.. what happens if I need to rescan it ages down the road for one reason or another? What will happen if two sketches decide to merge with one another? Thats also why I wont draw on printer paper. I used to.. but for the most part I dont like to draw on it unless I am practicing anatomy.. or a body feature (which my devaccount shows I clearly dont do often...) and otherwise I use it to doodle, nothing more. I dont like how pencils dont stay on the paper will enough. That, and it makes the sketches harder to keep in one spot. The main downside I guess is that my lines arent as crisp and I could probably do more detail if I would give in and use it instead.. I dunno.. maybe Ill be able to find a fullsized spiral with plain copypaper in it at some point and Ill keep it around for more detailed peices and such.

So yeah, I HATE copypaper. Cause I guess I looked in my sketchbook and saw the copypaper submission and forgot that the one in my scraps wasnt the one in my sketchbook.. -.-

Anyway.. this is the redux. It doesnt make much sense now.. but it will once colored. Im more or less pleased with this one.. hair was an after-thought.. it sucks right now.. pay it no mind. Ill fix it when I color it. I hate that I cant find a reference picture for this anywhere. The only place to find the picture I modeled it after is on the back of the videogame box.. which means I need to unpack my videogames. v.v;
