Description 1 Cymbospondylus:  A large, aggressive predator that lives in and around coral reefs and also deep water reefs.  They seem slow but can get quick bursts of speeds to capture fish, ammonites, belemnites, and marine reptiles.  9-12 meters

2 Shonisaurus: A large whale like animal that uses its great jaws and small teeth to engulf large amounts of fish, squid, plankton, and other small animals.  They gulp huge amounts of water and use their teeth to catch any animal in their mouth.  They live in the open oceans and live in pods of 6 individuals.  20-29 meters

3.  Thalattoarchon: Another large predatory ichthyosaur however it lives in the open water and has extremely powerful jaws and can kill other large animals like Cymbospondylus and young Shonisaurus.  They are camouflaged like a great white shark and have been known to breach the water while hunting mammals, reptiles, and large birds.  13-20 meters

4. Temnodontosaurus: The third large predatory ichthyosaur that can travel into deep water and hunt large squid, marine reptiles, fish, and even each other.  They have the largest eyes of any marine animal which allows any pieces of light to be captured so they can see in the black water.  9-13 meters.
