Description

Basically the front view of the bridge with added hand grips, alert lights and panels.

Under the panels are access to circuits, emergency CO2 scrubbers, oxygen candles -- I learned about them from the movie, "Life", with Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, etc. -- medical kits, flashlights, etc. I wonder how Khan was able to prevent Kirk and company from accessing those systems on, "Space Seed," when Khan took over the Enterprise?

Anyways, the bridge layout:

Communications - port aft

Science - starboard aft

Engineering - port

Tactical - forward port

Environmental - starboard

Defence - forward starboard

And of course helm/nav and the captain's chair.

The 2 starboard stations were mostly fill-ins as I don't know what they were really there for, but added them in based on the TOS bridge layout and the TMP layout. I removed the terminal that was in front of the main viewport, now deciding what to put there.

Oh, turbolifts do not go straight to the bridge. The port door leads to a corridor that leads to the captain's ready room and other rooms beyond. Starboard -- not quite sure, but will lead to one of the briefing rooms. Behind the bridge is the ship's astrometrics lab that's not much bigger than the TOS bridge. It might feature the helm/nav station without the captain's chair with the computer stations replaced with view screens. Or they keep the stations with the view screen replaced with other computer stations, and the helm/nav station is replaced with a hologram. I'm not sure, perhaps the former as a simpler version to the stellar cartography lab from Star Trek: Generations.
