Description Basically took the command module from the Discovery 1 from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, and scaled down the Daedalus class's body and stuck the command module there.

And yes they have a centrifuge for gravity.

Awesome, simply an awesome cross that it is actually quite amazing that no one else has thought of this before (at least in so far as I know). Even the pods would make sense being used in this time period of Trek (forebearers of the Workbees?).
