Zane smiled as he sat on his bed, a small box in his hands in front of him. It had been difficult, but he left the Leviathan a few nights prior to get this and came back the same night without Freude knowing he was gone. And that's how he wanted it. He wanted this to be a complete surprise to her. He looked down at Jade, who was licking her paw beside him, "Do you think she'll like it?" He asked her.
Jade lifter her head and stared at her master, 'She will, trust me.'
Zane stared at the box again for a long minute before he got up, "I'll go give it to her right now then." He said before he left his room and stepped into the hallway, walking a few more steps and staring right at Freude's door for a moment, fidgeting with the box in his hands, before he lifted his hand and knocked on the door three times.
