Little paws pitter patter up the cave entrance as El settles into a slump nearby, well knowing what would follow next. Pompeii does as Pompeii always did when unsupervised; he placed his paws directly onto her muzzle and squeaks quietly, "Are you awake?"
Pups should be well asleep by now.
