Just a silly idea that popped up in my head after being reminded on the Madagascar movie.

Basically, in this verse, Vendra and Neftin are bats that used to live in a lab that they were not only created in, but also experimented on for almost their entire lives. Vendra was subjected to a multitude of experiments that gave her telekinetic abilities while her brother was injected with a good number of serums that would help him not only grow in size but in strength as well, and they were somewhat successful. While Neftin did indeed grow larger than most bats (about the same size as a human child) and stronger, his wings unfortunately never grew with him. They remained quite small, only large enough to help him glide through the air like a flying squirrel, and never grew reached past his wrists. Vendra was, however, the lucky one out of the two as she never had any problems with her wings unlike her brother after gaining her telekinetic powers, but she did remain rather small in comparison to him. And now, with the two of them living in a zoo where they are taken care of by the people working there, Vendra is making up plans to get conquer the world and enslave humanity for how they treated the twins in the lab. It's kind of like Pinkie and The Brain but Neftin isn't into the whole "conquer the world" and "enslave humanity" stuff, humans aren't that bad in his eyes - at least not all of them. He'd rather just live a life in peace. But, being that she is his only famiy and neeeds his help, Neftin tags along on his sister's plans and, when they end up failing, comforts her.
