Description
I think it's sad how people turned what stood for God's promise of mercy into a symbol of "pride".And before you go all "HFJHVKSDJB HOMO HATER!!!1one"-
No, I don't hate people. Just because I don't support something does not mean I hate or am judging them.
You could think of it like this- I have friends that smoke. I love them to death but I don't support them smoking. Not comparing gays to a bad habbit, that was just an example.
Also, I believe that homosexual relationships, "doing" homosexual things is the sin. Not actually "being" homosexual.
I also fully believe a homosexual can be saved. If you want to know more about what I believe about homosexuals please read this: [link]
It's not one of those websites that condemns gays, it's actually quite hopeful and uplifting in my opinion.
EDIT: While on this subject I just want to throw in that I think it's wrong to bully someone because they're gay, I think any kind of bullying is wrong. If everyone would just love everyone else, regardless of our issues, the world would be a better place.
"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
Matthew 22: 37-39
This stamp is really about the rainbow though. It's hard to wear or draw stuff with rainbows without people getting the wrong ideas about you.
I'm a tomboy(and straight), so if I wear anykind of rainbow a lot of people think I'm a dyke >:I
I even have a W.W.J.D bracelet that's the color of a rainbow, it's not even the same colors or pattern as the gay pride rainbow, and I've already had someone point at it and ask me if I support gay marriage.
You don't really want to be seen as a lesbian when your trying to attract guys, know what I mean?
But besides not being able to wear rainbows without people getting the wrong ideas. It's really sad to see people change the rainbows original and true meaning.
Pride or Mercy? Which are you for?
