yeah it's not exactly 8hrs though. I lost count a bit. Maybe it's 9hrs or 7.5hrs... ^^

I know the feeling, currently working (almost finishing) one drawing, that I started one year and a half ago, so far I'm around 220 hours I suspect, cause I lost count at 150 hours wich was after a year... Yeah sounds crazy , but I'm finally seeing the finishing line.

wow I never spent so much time on a drawing like that, must be a very good one. I saw it a moment ago and yeah, it's good!

Yeah it is for sure, but I never would get the same results as you do in a shorter period. I have my fulltime job, so I only can spend like up to 3 to 6 hours in a drawing each week (depends on my hourschedule and if we need to go somewhere family or friend related), wich makes me a very very slow drawer now. Before they already complained that I was slow in school and then I was used to drawing each day...

thanks for sharing. yeah I guess you have something I don't: patience. I would have dropped it half way if I'd spent huge time on it. I knew I should've spent more time on rendering complex textures like skin or hair but I lost patience somehow and I was rushing it to see the final result. Turns out it's good but not great. But I guess it's fair. Hey enjoy drawing and sharing! good luck

I do feel like you've showed enough detail for the amount of time you took. I do know the feeling about wanting to see it finished, I'm totaly exploding of excitement right now but try to keep myself calm so that I don't mess up the last fase and parts of this drawing. Would be a pity after all that time . Anyway you can try to work on your patienced, but that would mean quit when you are rushing it too much and restart when you are calm. And unfortunately not everyone gets a realy long deadline like I do...
I just say it before I start something for someone else it can take months or even a year. It's not easy to always blend in your hobbies with your work, cause I do have different schedule hours, so it's like working, cleaning, laundry, shopping and then hoping that I still have time to cook, eat and then maybe drawing or reading a book, watch a movie or a serie. So it can get chaotic.
And I always enjoy drawing and sharing... Good luck with your next project also and merry christmass and happy new year .

I really liked the rendering on the nose an the droplets of light shimmering on the lips are effective.

well I spent a lot of time on the lips, using mechanical pencil and tortillon to render it gently. Glad you like. Thanks! ^^
