The Akarayasha, as they call themselves, are shapeshifters with characteristics of plants and arthropods, thought mostly of plants. When interacting with individuals of other species, they often take forms similar to the one of that species, like for example taking a humanoid or semi-humanoid form when talking with humanoid beings.
