Planet Venus, Eight Views, 03-28-23, Digital Photographic Montage
Tonight there was a Grand Conjunction of Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and Uranus. My skies were too light polluted to see any of them besides Venus, the brightest planet in our skies. These images were taken with an okay digital camera mounted on a tripod from my front porch. This montage features each image in its native resolution. Due to mechanics of my camera's lens and atmospheric lensing effects, neither of which I pretend to understand, I was able to achieve varying levels of magnification and detail. The smaller images are more detailed and seem to have a stronger signal strength, the larger images are dimmer and less detailed.
