With a confident gait, waddling from paw to paw, you pass by another island of densely populated savannah. Your journey is just beginning, and you, full of strength and hopes for an exciting adventure, follow the last green tree with your eyes and fearlessly step on the sand of the ruthless desert.

Although... is it that ruthless? On your way there are both antelopes and foxes, and they feel quite well. At least until they see you. Well... your mother's stories about the dangers of the desert were, to put it mildly, untrue, if only because there were no mountains of bones and rotting bodies every three meters.
Fascinated by looking at the local flora and fauna, even if not as numerous as in your native lands, you, without noticing it, stop. Soon the smell of rotten meat distracts you from such a wonderful activity. You probably jumped to conclusions about your mother's stories, and therefore you hurriedly turn in the direction from which such an unpleasant aroma was drawn.
Having decided to make sure that there is no huge cemetery behind the next hill, you carefully walk along the path, climbing to the top. From there, a completely ordinary picture opens up to your eyes.
Either a hyena or a dog is sitting over the remains of his lunch, which has apparently gone bad. Well... this animal will have to work hard to catch something else edible. You are already deciding to leave so as not to suddenly get into trouble, but the sad look of the poor guy makes you stop. You hesitate and take a step forward, then back. In the end, shaking your head, you, trying to maintain confidence, descend to this very being. I must say, this creature does not seem to notice you and continues to look sadly at the spoiled food. Taking advantage of the poor man's ignorance, you are modestly (or not very) looking at a previously unseen creature.
Some kind of shaggy, with a long tail. It is unlikely that a hyena could be this size. In
addition to these details, you notice that the dog is covered with a thick dried layer of dirt, not to mention that fresh dirt was now dripping from the creature. Maybe it's some kind of tradition?
