“A rare variant of the smaller ponyorites, also know as asteroid-class ponyorites, ponyroids are large variants the size of a large asteroid that was originally a regular Ponyorite but unexpectedly grew into immense size due to flying too close to the system’s sun, which causes their bodies to grow larger than usual. Despite the size and a “horn” forming on their head being the only mutation the rock ponies went through, it was also discovered that their senses and intellect also increases, although this doesn’t prevent them from mindlessly going on a collision course towards anything in its path. Special procedures have been put in place to avoid catastrophic incidents after an incident on an erchius mining facility on a moon occured where a ponyroid collided onto the surface, causing moderate casualties. (Including the ponyroid which was reported to swell up and “burst” into pieces due to the collision and the immense buildup of the radiation inside it). “
