O.O oh my!!! did you designed this? because its beautiful, Im an architect student and I really love this design, I like the proportions, and the perspective its well ubicated, the lights effect are correct and the sky its beautiful too, the colors used are well combinated with each other and make a beautiful contrast. nice colors choice by the way.

Maya/mental ray, well I sort of tried out a new light-shader, so the rendertime was not really acceptable for this kind of project I'll have to look into that

The water looks unnatural, the gras and the bank in teh front as well. u should also try to make it look more naturalistic. the textur of the walkway is kinda strange.
the lighting and the geometry looks rlly good.
but as said u should watch more teh details in your work!

The pic is photo realistic, especially the water reflection. What was it you didnt like? I really thought this was a HDR image.

Thanx, actually the water is one element that needs tweaking I didn't have time to make some proper grass, and my original plan was to render the image with some slight depth-of-field.
And imho some of the materials needs refinement, what can I say, I'm a perfectionist!
