Near Kamine Island, 12:21 p.m. The Black Knights and Tokyo Mavericks fought their way through the airships and Knightmares of Britannia, and were in front of the Daedalus and Yorktown, surrounded by Knightmares and the last of the airships.

Hawking: Hey, Alistair! Been a minute, hasn't it? Since your pals know about Geass, no reason for me to hide, right?
Tohdoh: So, even Sears had a Geass. Let me guess...
Alistair: V.V., the Director of Civility.
Tohdoh: Good thing you and Zero killed him.
Hawking: Yeah, that would explain why I didn't see a Geass in Charles' eyes. Either way...I'll let you settle this little spat, first.
Charles: What?!
Hawking: It's Hawking, by the way, Charles! Have fun with your kid!

The Yorktown and the rest of the Enclave and Civility Knightmares left, leaving only the Britannian forces.

Charles: ...Very well. A showdown, it is, then. Know the full might of Britannia! Know the power of the world you resist!

More Knightmares flew out of the Daedalus, and the gargantuan ship’s guns started taking aim, preparing for battle.

Zero: Let’s do it, everyone! Asahina, stay on the Yatagarasu, your wounds haven’t completely healed!
Asahina: No complaints!
Ohgi: All units without flight capabilities, remain on your ships! Function like turrets, and protect the ground you’re on!
Schneizel: I’ll be fair, I wish I had thought about turrets with machine guns, instead of just cannons.
Alistair: Nonetheless, this fight ends, here and now.
Charles: Britannia is law!
Alistair, Ohgi and Zero: (in unison) Attack!

The Black Knights and Tokyo Mavericks resumed their battle with the Britannian forces, bullets and cannon fire filling the skies. As some Britannian Knightmares went toward the Ikaruga and Yatagarasu, they were shot down by the Knightmares in position on top of the ships, without Float Units. The Britannian Knightmares that managed to land on either ship were met with melee attacks that destroyed them, Asahina’s Akatsuki using its sword to pierce through the cockpit.

Asahina: Ah, that’s good. Still getting action, this is good.
Tohdoh: Considering that you got injured, last night, it’s the best position that you can have, right now.
Asahina: Trust me, I’m still hurting. But, not when it concerns these assholes.

The Masakado cut through the Knightmares protecting the Daedalus and landed on top of the enormous ship, starting to destroy the turrets.

Suzaku: God damn, Alistair’s ballsy! (Lancelot destroys Vincent Ward with VARIS Rifle)
Zero: More balls than you and me, combined.
Suzaku: He also has more combat experience.
Zero: True. (Shinkiro cuts through Gloucester with its axe)
Charles: Do you truly believe you will win this battle, Wake?
Alistair: Who’s losing more people, you or me?
Charles: My army is much bigger than your ragtag group of fools. And, you became the top fool, in this fight.

The Daedalus was suddenly surrounded by a powerful Blaze Luminous, trapping the Masakado inside.

Alistair: Ooh! I like this! It’s new!
Charles: Allow me to satiate your nonsensical desire for battle, then.
Alistair: Battle? Nah. Karma? You’re damn right!

As Vincents and Gareths approached the Masakado, the Masakado engaged in a heated battle, while also creating entrances for the others to get into the Daedalus, once the Blaze Luminous was deactivated. Meanwhile, the other Knightmares tried to break through the Blaze Luminous, but to no avail, the Lancelot’s Hadron Blaster not making a dent in it.

Suzaku: Damn, that’s thick!
Zero: You’re telling me! Trying to destroy that behemoth, from the outside, won’t do a thing!
Kallen: Let me in that thing, and I’ll do something about it!
Charles: Believe what you want, foolish children. The Daedalus cannot be sunk, by the likes of you. You are powerless.
Zero: What, you mean like how you were powerless, when Alistair beat the shit out of you?

Charles did not respond, and the Daedalus charged at the ships. Lelouch smiled under his mask, as he looked at a radar, showing the positions of electronic warfare Sutherlands, perfectly surrounding the dreadnought.

Charles: Full speed ahead! Destroy the flagships!
Zero: With this...I call check!

The Gawain Nexus got in front of the Daedalus, and used its EMP wave, along with the electronic warfare Sutherlands, disabling the Blaze Luminous.

Charles: What’s this?!
Seth: How’s that for a perfect shield, asshole?
Alistair: Pick an entrance, and charge!
Zero: You heard him! Go, go, go!

Squads of Knightmares made their way into the Daedalus, going in seperate directions, to cover more ground, as more Knightmares shot at them.

Zero: We’re splitting up?
Alistair: There are several cores that are keeping this damn thing flying. Once we put Charles on his last legs, we’re knocking this thing out of the sky.
Zero: Right… I also want to spend some time grinding my axe on these Knightmares, so you gave just the opportunity I wanted.

The Shinkiro cut through a Royal Guard Vincent with its axe, and went with the Lancelot, Zangetsu and several Akatsuki and Burais, while the Masakado went with some Sutherlands and Burais, the Yoshitsune went with the Yamato Takeru, Koga Saburo, Tenkai and Omoikane, and the Guren went with the Mordred and Tristan.

On the bridge of the Daedalus, Charles received word that the ship had been broken into.

Charles: So, they’ve taken the fight inside the ship, have they? It matters not. Their demise is all but assured.
