Description
Specially Administrated Zone of Japan, 3:00 p.m. The Black Knights that were waiting in secret received a transmission from Zero, explaining the events that transpired at the ceremony.Zero: (over radio) You have your orders! Protect the Japanese, at all costs!
Tamaki: That our cue?
Ohgi: I'd think so. You think this heavy artillery Burai will hold out?
Kallen: It'll do fine. It's also heavily armored.
Tamaki: We've got these new weapons, might as well test them out!
Tohdoh: Let's roll!
Kallen: Like Limp Bizkit!
Tohdoh: Very well! Might as well call this the Durst offensive!
The Black Knights' Knightmares moved out of the forest and engaged the Primeblood Knightmares that were attacking innocent Japanese civilians, the Guren destroying a Ravager with its Radiant Wave Surger, grasping the Ravagers' head and maintaining perfect balance, while its feet were off the ground.
Kallen: See you never, asshole!
Tamaki: Nice work, Kallen! That makes five kills, with one shot, each, for me! Two for one! That's seven!
Tohdoh: My turn!
Tohdoh's Gekka boosted across the ground utilizing its Brake Sword, stopped in front of an Arbiter, and held the sword in both of its hands. With the rocket boosters empowering and speeding up each swing, Tohdoh's Gekka utilized a downward right slash, a downward left slash, then an upward slash to launch itself into the air, while slicing the Arbiter in half. While in the air, Tohdoh's Gekka boosted down and sliced another Arbiter in half.
Tohdoh: I never knew that improvising could be so fun.
Tamaki: Uh, I just noticed that some of the Primeblood Knightmares have jetpacks...
Tohdoh: Great. Now, we've got flying enemies. This sword, alone, isn't going to cut it.
Black Knight: (over radio) We just heard what happened! We're coming in, with new weapons!
Tohdoh: So, that's why there's a new scabbard, for the swords.
As supply trucks approached the Black Knights' Knightmares, the trailers opened, revealing the weapons that were acquired.
Tohdoh: We better choose wisely. Ohgi, you seem fine, as you are.
Ohgi: Good, because I don't think this unit can carry any more.
Tamaki: Oh, sweet! Gauss cannon!
Tohdoh: What does that entail, exactly?
Tamaki: Disintegration.
Tohdoh: An energy weapon?
Tamaki: Until Tesla weapons can be built, this is what we've got. (Burai picks up gauss cannon)
Tohdoh: That's a big gun.
Tamaki: Oh, sweet, the sniper attachment!
Tohdoh: The what?
Tamaki's Burai fired the gauss cannon at approaching Renegade Burais, the beam piercing through the Knightmares and causing all of them to explode.
Tamaki: Five for one. Fully charged, anyway.
Tohdoh: You sniped those guys, with a big gun. That's impressive.
Tamaki: Right? By the way, I never got to ask... How does it feel to be part of D-Generation X, with giant robots?
Tohdoh: I never thought I'd live to see this day.
Kallen: Well, keep living. This little patch of humanity's about to sprout up some revolution.
2016 a.t.b., McCarran Airport. Alistair met with the military leaders that had been helping him for the entirety of his fight with Atlas, inside one of the airport's meeting rooms.
Alistair (Age 15): Hard to believe it's been a year. Time sure does fly.
Lieutenant Kessler: And, you still don't put your feet off the tables.
Alistair: Deviance is one of the many beauties life has to offer. And idealism. So, we got a surefire way to get Atlas the hell out of here?
Colonel Reynolds: We do. We found out that Charlie Atlas is hiding out in his giant tower, all the way at Montana.
Alistair: Of course. Civility redecorated the place. What kind of plan do you have?
Lieutenant Kessler: We storm the tower, and wipe out his main weapons production facility, at the same time.
Colonel Reynolds: It's up to you to stop Atlas' top guards. Cyborgs, made by Civility, all female and your age. Old Charlie didn't even dare to respect them.
Alistair: A pervert and a sexist, in one being. Talk about complete opposites.
Lieutenant Kessler: It's up to you to kill those girls, then destroy the tower.
Alistair: That file there says that the girls are being controlled, remotely, not acting of their own free will. Where's the control unit?
Colonel Reynolds: There is no such thing.
Alistair: Might as well find it. I'll take it from here, dumbasses.
As soon as Alistair left the room, General Chase leaned on the door, looking at the soldiers that failed at a simple strategy.
Lieutenant Kessler: I don't understand how you can keep him around, General.
Colonel Reynolds: He's a god damn deviant! He doesn't even qualify as being a soldier! Look at us! We're soldiers!
General Chase: The world doesn't revolve around soldiers. If soldiers were a necessity, we wouldn't be where we are, today. Soldiers have never been a necessity. Take me, for example. I joined the military, because I wanted to change it, for the better. Not for glory, patriotism, money, or any of that shit. I did what I wanted to do, for the good of the world, not for a single, inanimate mass of land. Lesser of two evils? Bitch, please.
Chief Hanlon: (walks into room) Then, there's me. I've got a farm, at my home. I'm just a simple farmer, who knows how to kick ass, every now and then. I told my squad about my idealism, and they respected it, every step of the way. They knew what it meant to be a good person, and the bane of cynical little snots.
Ocelot: (walks into room) Despite being born in Russia, I was extremely fond of America. It's just one of the benefits of my Asperger's Syndrome, just focusing on as many things that it can muster. Those focuses happen to be weapons used by cowboys, Wild West clothes, people, the world and benevolence. I very much like Rousseau's philosophy, as much as Alistair does.
Knight: (walks into room) I was never really a fan of soldiers. Vigilantism was more up my alley. The concept of mercy isn't lost to me, it's just that some people don't deserve mercy. In my eyes, soldiers have never existed, but benefactors always have. The idea of helping people is beautiful. Alistair was the first mercenary benefactor, before I could come up with the name.
General Chase: Finally, we have Cheryl "Paragon" Wake. Would you care to guess why she joined?
Lieutenant Kessler: Uh... Because she was a good person?
General Chase: Exactly. Cheryl, Phoenix and President Daughtry. They all went to the same school, they were friends, with the same ideals. They may be dead, but their ideals and philosophies live on. Especially in Alistair. Head downstairs, boys. You're heading back to school.
2017 a.t.b., Specially Administrated Zone of Japan. As the Black Knights' Knightmares destroyed every Renegade and Primeblood Knightmare that obstructed their path, they looked up at the Civility airship that loomed above.
Tohdoh: Huh. We're gonna need the Hadron cannons, for this one.
Tamaki: True. Since I had to give the Gauss cannon back.
Kallen: There are just some guns that don't have clips. Oh, great. Now, the ship's gonna shoot at us.
Tohdoh: No. That's not a weapon... That's a hangar!
A group of Knightmares launched from the ship, after the hangar doors opened, and landed in front of the Black Knights' Knightmares. The commanding Knightmares were completely different than the previous models, appeared to be 7th generation.
Tamaki: What the hell are those?
Nanbu: Afternoon, shitstains!
Kallen: Nanbu!
Nanbu: Not just me. Kane Truman's here, too. Ain't that right? Oh, wait, they didn't install the speakers, yet.
Tohdoh: You can pilot a Knightmare, too? I thought you preferred a cushy office job?
Nanbu: Got bored. Now, I can pilot Knightmares, in my suit and tie. So, how do you like my bot? Pretty menacing, right?
Tohdoh: It looks...familiar.
Nanbu: Of course, it should! You think my first name was a coincidence? I chose it, specifically for this sort of thing.
Tohdoh: You chose your own name- No. You son of a bitch!
Tamaki: What? What is it?
Nanbu: Black Knights... Meet Nobunaga Oda, reborn as the 7th gen Knightmare, Nobunaga!
Kallen: Nobunaga? He was just some dickweed conqueror.
Tohdoh: He's going with the Devil King myth. The one with the shotgun.
Kallen: Oh, yeah. There's red, instead of purple... And, I just noticed the cape.
Nanbu: Everyone thought I was just a politician. Well, they merely neglected my military history, back in the day. And, I feel as though I must remind everyone of my superiority.
Kallen: Really, now? What's your IQ, anyway? 120?
Nanbu: Try 168.
Kallen: Wha-?! Then, why-?
Nanbu: Because I like talking like this. It sounds more condescending, when someone speaks in an urban tone. Though, I don't expect someone akin to Brujahs would understand.
Kallen: Brujah? What the hell is that?
Nanbu: Wow. You've never heard or played Vampire: The Masquerade? Just...wow.
Kallen: I haven't. So, what about that one?
Nanbu: The Barbatos? Eh, nothing special. Just the duke of Hell. Except a hundred times more awesome. (pauses) You're one to talk, grandpa. Wit is a part of life, of demoralization. (pauses) Even when you're old, you can be a troll. I like it.
Tohdoh: I can't believe we've been standing here, talking.
Nanbu: Yeah, it's good to save it for the fighting. By the way, Tohdoh... Do you know?
Tohdoh: Know what?
Nanbu: That I killed Genbu Kururugi. And, that you let him die.
Tohdoh: He's mine!
Tohdoh's Gekka chased after the Nobunaga as it flew away, backwards, Nanbu laughing evilly.
Tamaki: So, this guy... He's the one that's been murdering Japanese, left and right, for no reason, all those years ago, right?
Kallen: Yeah? What's your point?
Tamaki: This old bastard's got some tricks up his sleeve, if he's killed assassins and managed to stay off of Britannia's radar.
Kallen: He can hear us.
Tamaki: He doesn't know our strats.
Immediately, the Barbatos took out two small rods and they turned into axes.
Tamaki: Okay, we have to get those, for the Gawain. Apart from the blunt Slash Harkens in the fingers, those axes will have to do.
Kallen: Let's take him, then.
Tamaki: Oh, I got him- I don't got him!
Tamaki's Burai and the Guren backed away from the Barbatos' immediate attack, which destroyed part of the road.
Tamaki: Huh. Well, at least we can take him.
When the Barbatos removed its axes from the concrete, Ravagers and Arbiters joined it.
Tamaki: Why did I think he was gonna play fair?
Meanwhile, Tohdoh's Gekka caught up with the Nobunaga, and the Nobunaga drew its double-barrel shotgun, with its right hand, and fired energy shots at the Gekka, which narrowly dodged them.
Tohdoh: A VARIS?!
Nanbu: Nifty, huh? Salvaged from the schematics of the Lancelot's. Into my favor, of course. Oh, are those your guys, over there?
The Nobunaga looked at the Black Knights' Knightmares, who were engaged with Nanbu's forces, and activated the VARIS shotgun's anti-materiel mode, immediately firing at both the Black Knights and his own Knightmares, destroying both forces.
Nanbu: Never mind. They're dead.
Tohdoh: Your guys were over there, too!
Nanbu: So? Everybody's expendable. Everybody's just a bunch of Stormtroopers. There's just no waivers involved.
Tohdoh: As always, you have no remorse, for anybody.
Nanbu: Why, thank you! I try my damnedest.
Tohdoh: Let's see you handle this!
Tohdoh's Gekka jumped into the air, its Brake Sword boosting it towards the Nobunaga, and as the swing was about to connect, the Nobunaga drew its MVS sword, with its left hand and blocked the strike. The Nobunaga pushed the Gekka back towards the ground and landed.
Tohdoh: You're a Southpaw, too?!
Nanbu: I've always been a lefty. Pretty confusing, huh, righty?
Meanwhile, Tamaki's Burai and the Guren finished off the Primebloods' Knightmares that were reinforcing the Barbatos, Tamaki's Burai taking a Ravager's sword.
Tamaki: Okay, asshole! Let's see what you've got! Unless you've got more minions to throw at us?
The Barbatos' axes reverted to their rod forms, then the Barbatos put them together, twisted them in place, and the two weapons became one, a greataxe, with edges larger than the original two.
Kallen: Okay... I know that's ripping something off, and it pisses me off.
Tamaki: Kallen, get going. I'll take him.
Kallen: But, Tamaki-!
Tamaki: Move your ass!
As the Guren left, Tamaki's Burai blocked the Barbatos' attack with its newly acquired sword, but was knocked backwards.
Tamaki: Ain't gonna go down than easy. Then again, you aren't exactly the average Primeblood commander.
As the Guren sped across the town, Kallen saw the S-850 drop down, near Alistair.
Kallen: Alistair!
Alistair: Hey! I'm guessing that we've got ourselves a collusion?
Kallen: The Primebloods and Renegades were in cahoots, the whole time!
Alistair: No wonder we never physically saw them fighting each other. Anyway, we need to find Euphy and get her to safety.
Kallen: Where could she be?
Immediately, Euphemia's voice, repeating her previous forced order came from a speakerphone, in the sky. Alistair looked up and saw a strange machine that was white and pink, in the shape of an orb, with spikes.
Alistair: My guess? The giant white and pink ball thing. (enters S-850) I'll handle Euphy. Where's Zero?
Kallen: Preventing any air support from getting here.
Alistair: Right, then. Off I go! (S-850 moves towards Euphemia)
Kallen: No wonder it moves so fast. It's acting like it's on roller blades!
When the S-850 caught up with the airborne prototype weapon, it was met with resistance from the Primebloods, which was immediately dispersed from the S-850's chainsaw katana. The S-850 jumped into the air and climbed to the front of the orb, about to punch it to the ground.
Euphemia: You think you can stop this prototype!? I dare you to make a dent in the Siegfried!
Alistair: Siegfried, huh? Well, you kinda made a point, there. Gonna need some momentum.
The S-850 looked at the spikes on the Siegfried prototype and saw that they were moving. The S-850 jumped towards one of the spikes as it launched forward, and at the moment it retracted, the S-850 soared back towards the prototype, colliding with it and punching it multiple times.
Alistair: Lou Thesz Press!
With the force of the Knightmare's punches, the Siegfried began falling to the ground as the S-850 jumped off and landed on the ground, the prototype crashing behind it.
