Now, I'd consider myself more of a writer than an artist, but this little drawing of mine seems act like an outlier of sorts, as it I've strayed away from the norm that was writing words rather than drawing lines and whatnot.

Little descriptive beginnings aside, this is the drawing I said I was making in my last status update post. If you don't know what it is (and perhaps you've avoided reading the name of this piece altogether), it's Dewott from Pokemon! Of course, Pokemon does not belong to me, but I felt like drawing this little fellow during Art class at school a few days ago. Since I don't exactly hone my drawing skills, I didn't expect this piece to be perfect, but I believe it actually turned out pretty good. Then again, I DID think about adding some more detail to the background (probably because I was imagining Dewott training next to a waterfall of sorts), but maybe I'll post another version of this piece with my original plan. Only time will tell what this writer will do, I suppose.

Truth be told, Dewott is actually one of my favorite Pokemon. In fact, if I had to rank all of my favorites, it would probably be #2. You may be asking, "Why is Dewott so high up the list?" Well, first of all, it would probably be #1 if Chimecho didn't already take that spot for a very, very special reason. Secondly, it resembles the sea otter (at least, in my eyes), an animal who I absolutely ADORE. Not only that, but he was the very first Pokemon I truly received, starting off as my starter, Oshawott, in Pokemon White 2. I still have White 2 to this day, and my little boy is a level 100 Samurott now, but the Discipline Pokemon will always have a special place in my heart.

Wondering what else a writer like me has in store? Well, I sure do I have news for you! Although... It might not exactly be good news if you like looking at art rather than reading. Sorry about that.
