The Poké Ball's red beam hits the ground, but rather than coalesce into sharp spikes and powerful metallic muscles, it expands over the arena, dirt bubbling in its wake as it splits open, magma pushing out of the wounds—

Towering pillars of lava-streaked metal burst out of the inferno the arena has turned into, arcing into an imposing fan that all but blocks Surge from view, even before the burst of lava that is the fusion's head catches all of Jack's attention—

And the red light turns blue.

The beast roars as its crown of steel juts out of its cheeks and temples, as the elongating cranium explodes into plumes of blue flame, as burning red eyes find Jack's wide-open ones.

That's not Stanklang. That's—

From my Pokémon Infinite Fusion nuzlocke run, Into the Depths. I just couldn't not try to draw it after I saw the sprite.
