This race is part of my Children of the Dragon project, which you can download here: www.dmsguild.com/product/33292…
This race is meant to be used along with my revised Dragonborn player race: drive.google.com/file/d/1-j7NX… which I made because Dragonborn are currently rather weak. So this should bring them up to par with the other races. These two races as well as many other works will be added to my final project, for which Whitemantis will make 6 more works! Here are links to the finished mechanics of those homebrew, as I'm just waiting for Whitemantis to finish the artworks

Oh certainly! But they are half dragons, and due to their humanoid ancestry the men turn out a bit taller.
And thanks! I'm glad you like them. They are on the strong side from what I hear from play tests, but people have told me that they are not overpowered. And I know about the template, which is why I made this for player races, as the template is only for monsters to make them stronger. Hopefully this will be a bit more balanced while also making them fun!

Funny, around 2 months ago or so I found a nice D&D channel.
And nowadays it seems the ForgottenRealms universe is gaining popularity again after all those years.

This looks like it could very easily be abused tbh given how many abilities and powers they have. It essentially makes dragonborn redundant seeing as how a halfdragon gets a breath weapon, a natural ability and the ability to turn into a dragon. Also whats wrong with being human, I'm just saying with all this talk about how halfdragons basically worship dragons it begs the question as to whether their would be some who would prefer their human ancestry. Hell even dragonborn a very unlikely to worship dragons :/

Nice, I'm glad you had the foresight to think of ways to improve the other draconic races so they wouldn't get left in the dust. Btw I recently posted my own race idea for DnD, it's no where near as nice looking as yours but I wanted to get my ideas out there.

DnD Species concept- Shades: A Short HistoryPhysiology:
Born from the dark power of an Evil Sorcerer, Shades are medium sized humanoids which are covered head to toe in a velvety black fur with black skin underneath. This black fur is sensitive to touch and as a result causes Shades to feel discomfort when wearing heavy clothes. This results in many shades practicing nudism or wearing light soft fabric such as silk or fleece. The fur however is longer at certain points and covers most of if not all of the Shades body parts that would be normally covered up much in the same way a Were-Wolf would. Their heads house a set of omnivorous black teeth which end in points, a hold over from when they were possessed and little more than feral beasts. They have long triangular ears off the sides of their head and also have soft fine black hair on theirs scalps.
