Description

A few days ago, there happened to be an unusual looking Asthena on my front lawn. It had a weird beak mutation, and the crown on its head was separated into three, earlike features that the creature could move willingly. I called up the Asthena Warden, he came and captured the beast after a long battle. It put up more of a fight than I've seen most Asthenas do, maybe this one is a little more relentless. Since the creature was captured on my lawn, the warden offered to let me put it into training. This would help it become tame, then I could take in on adventures with me, using it as a mount and guard. I agreed rather quickly, and the next day we were off. They tied the Asthena's jaw shut and added a metal collar and... some other weird stuff onto it. Maybe it was a shock collar that would send electricity into its mouth? Do they have some sort of weird power there? Dunno. Anyway, those restraints were put there to keep it from biting us. Uhh... the first part of training was tracking and finding valuable minerals. Uh... the creature, I'm calling it Velocity for now, didn't seem too happy about this whole... situation. It brought us right through a rainstorm. I don't blame it though. I wouldn't be happy if I was taken from whatever former life I had to start another as a slave basically. I hope that if the thing doesn't make it through this training, it can at least be tamed and find a good home. I think that's all for now. Banshi, out.
