Description
!!HER BACKSTORY IS STILL IN CONSTRUCTION, NONE OF THIS IS FINALIZED YET!!
»»————-❃————-««
Ripley is a dragon-like alien, referring to her species as Lynghenfil. She resides mainly on District 1. She will sometimes visit earth due to having an interest in humans and their behavior as well as earth’s wildlife. She has a great amount of interest relating to the ocean and marine life.
Ripley has control over a variety of alien plants in the same family spread throughout the Omniverse. She uses these plants for a variety of different things, including regeneration and electricity conduction.
Multiple planets exist (one per Universe) that are full of the new plants created by her shattering while the rest are scattered more thoroughly throughout the Omniverse. If something were to happen to one or more of these planets and cause them to die, she’d lose a decent amount of her plant-based powers and would have to work on growing new ones wherever possible to regain powers of the same measure she had before.

☘ PERSONALITY, STRENGTHS, AND WEAKNESSES ☘
♦ PERSONALITY ♦
Ripley is often shy and keeps to herself. She doesn't enjoy talking to others very much, which makes it hard for her to even attempt making friends. Ripley often strays from trying to find love in someone for her own reasons and only falls in love with close friends she has known for a while. She loves drawing, music, video games, technology, ocean life (on earth specifically), animals, and of course, all kinds of plants.
To strangers, Ripley can often come off as cold. She is extremely introverted and likes to be closed off from others, but some situations or people can break her out of her shell temporarily. She often acts like she does not enjoy going out and doing things with other people, but if put into a situation where she has to be around them, especially friends, it doesn't take her too long to warm up to the situation and slowly become more talkative. She also finds herself trying her hardest to make people laugh, since she loves seeing others around her happy even if she is not.
When Ripley manages to make a friend, she tries her best to stay as loyal as she can to them. She tries to be there when they need help and give any kind of emotional support they could use. When she finds herself unable to provide assistance, she will often begin to get anxious or worried that they will start to dislike her for being unable to provide that assistance. Ripley doesn't find it hard to stick with her friends for a long time, but in some cases she finds herself losing contact with them from being too worried of becoming a burden to them- thus becoming farther apart and losing them as a friend.
Toward lovers, Ripley becomes a lot more open about her past and feelings, as well as finding herself able to trust them a lot more than friends or acquaintances. Ripley will always make her partner her first priority and does everything in her power to keep them safe and make them happy, but often struggles with believing she could actually help their mood or keep them safe at all. This leads to a lot of internal conflicts for Ripley, constantly questioning if she is good enough or if her lover truly wants to be with her- both of which she sometimes has trouble believing even if her partner has made it clear that she is doing nothing wrong. However, these internal conflicts Ripley faces when it comes to love are part of the reason she often avoids it as a whole. However, she will not fight having feelings for someone when she is aware they exist, but will often keep quiet about them until she finally decides to step out of her comfort zone and say something.
♦ STRENGTHS ♦
Ripley has a decent amount of physical strength, a surprising amount for someone her size. She doesn't often find a need to use this strength for anything, but she enjoys showing it off when she can, especially if it is being used to help someone out in one way or another.
While not always showing it, Ripley is intelligent. More often than not, she likes being a class clown trying to make people laugh, but if need be she will put on her thinking glasses to do some work. Again, only if it's needed.
Even though she would never admit it herself, Ripley is often described as kindhearted and loving toward others. She finds it easy to sympathize and empathize with the likes of those in tough situations, leading her to always want to help out in any way possible, especially people in a rough spot.
Ripley very much enjoys drawing and is fairly decent at it, but as she would tell you, she still has a long way to go before she is where she wants to be in that aspect but is more than willing to go on that journey to get there.
♦ WEAKNESSES ♦
Nearsightedness often gets in the way for Ripley, making it hard for her to see far-distance objects and people. However, Ripley doesn't find herself needing to see things far away too often and the large amounts of trees surrounding her home prevent her from seeing far away anyway.
Ripley can be clumsy at times and doesn't have the best balance, but she tries her best to remain graceful in the eyes of the public, which, if she is not in a hurry, does not struggle with.
Sensitive hearing often causes Ripley problems in loud situations, causing her to remove herself from said situations promptly in order to keep from damaging her ears.
When Ripley makes friends, she gets almost too attached to them and has trouble letting go when/if she needs to, and even if said person has proven themselves to be untrustworthy or an overall bad friend, Ripley still tends to find herself unable to split from them. It takes her time to get used to the change losing a friend brings, and when that time comes, it often brings her mood down by a lot.

☘ ABILITIES AND RIPLEY'S SHARDS ☘➤ Ripley can generate electricity from any part of her body but mainly uses her claws for an offensive advance. Said bursts of electricity can vary in power, but it is known that Ripley can do a devastating amount of damage with it. Ripley often uses this power more than her plant-based powers to conserve her energy and deal damage quickly.
➤ She often likes to create "orbs" of lightning. These are often thrown toward her targets, and can be compared to precision weapons. Upon contact with a solid or liquid, the orb will explode and create a thunderous sound, often being able to kill with one strike depending on it's size.
➤ Being able to do almost anything she pleases with her lightning abilities, Ripley often spends time trying to figure out how to use it in new ways...
♦ RIPLEY'S SHARDS ♦
➤ Ripley has a specific species of plants that appeared when she got shattered. These plants are called her shards. She can connect to them, control them, and grow new ones based off how many there are nearby and how much energy she has; Growing new plants takes a toll on her and tires her out, but if there are a lot of plants of this species nearby, she will use increments of their energy along with her own to grow new life but never takes enough energy from the plants to kill them unless in a dire situation where she will die without using her plants to recover herself. The farther away she is from these plants, the weaker her plant-based powers are. However, there are very few situations where Ripley does not have a decent amount of her plants nearby after being spread throughout the Omniverse from being shattered. Case she is ever without her plants as a source of power, however, she always carries her electrical powers, which the plants can also conduct.
♦ PLANT-BASED ABILITIES, CONTINUED ♦
> Ripley can "charge" these plants, store electricity inside them, then release it in a large burst that could possibly kill a nearby/medium distance target. Charging these plants doesn’t take long at all, but it takes different amounts of time depending on how powerful she wants the burst of energy to be.
> Ripley can also drain energy from the plants and regenerate herself if in a life-threatening situation; in which case she will kill the plants to save herself or a lover/love interest but this is the ONLY occasion. Ripley doesn't want to use the energy of her plants on saving lives whenever needed, which is why she keeps that ability to herself and those she loves dearly.
> In the scenario Ripley lost a limb, a small flower will grow back in its place and allow a new limb to grow back fully in a matter of days. During this period of time, Ripley would seclude herself wherever possible to stay away from interacting with others.
> If Ripley is in a state of distress or severe pain, she can envelop herself in a series of tangled and messy vines. These vines are hard to cut or damage, but if they are somehow broken the fluids inside are highly poisonous to the touch.
> A certain species of tree in the family of plants Ripley has can let her teleport between different places of her choice. These trees sometimes grow with a slit down their middle, revealing a series of glowing, fiber-y strands that only react to Ripley’s touch. If anyone else were to touch these strands, they would experience a severe stinging pain wherever the contact is being made- But only for whatever amount of time contact is made. Ripley CAN control who is and is not able to touch the inside of these trees, allowing herself to take other people through the teleportation system if needed.

☘ RIPLEY’S PLANETS AND DISTRICT 1 ☘There are a series of planets that host only Ripley’s family of plants. This includes trees, vines, bushes, and everything of the like. These planets contain no other forms of life and serve only as a power source of sorts to Ripley. She resides on one of these planets in her primary Universe and stays there until she wants a change in environment- which case she will normally travel to earth or search for an entirely new planet to explore. Ripley simply calls the planet in her primary Universe “District 1”.
If someone manages to find District 1 and steps foot on it, Ripley's plants will notify her that something is there, which case she will track down the movements to find whatever is trespassing onto her land. Ripley won't hesitate to attack threats and possibly kill them without mercy or second thought due to not wanting to risk the life of her planet.
District 1 is considered Ripley’s home. She has a small cabin within the heart of a thick and lush forest. Though it looks mossy and old on the outside, it’s interior is a lot more futuristic, housing technologies far superior to what humans currently possess. Ripley spends a lot of her time here mapping out places she’s been and places she wants to go, trying to find out how big of a map she can create.
When she isn’t spending time in her cabin, Ripley will often go underground to the glowing crystal-like structures in a cave nearby to collect water and the crystals themselves, often giving the fragments to those she becomes good friends with or particularly likes as a gift. Whether these crystals or not hold any true value is unknown to Ripley herself, but she holds a strong emotional value to them.
The cave itself is huge; So huge in fact that it possesses a blue-sanded, glittering beach deep inside it's core, illuminated by glowing crystals. There is also a decent amount of glowing plant life inside the cave, though growing a bit differently than Ripley's other plants, which rely on sunlight to survive.

☘ POST-SHATTERING HISTORY ☘Soon after re-awakening and being shattered, Ripley found herself on an odd planet named Katilnax, with no knowledge of how she arrived. Hurt and confused, she had very little choice to do anything other than try to survive there for the time being.
Within her short amount of time living on this planet, Ripley became affected by a parasite with a lizard-like physical appearance. This parasite drove her to insanity, attacking everything she could with the power to control electricity and certain plants around her.
It didn’t take long before officials in the city she had been damaging took notice of her presence, soon sending out troops to either tranquilize or kill Ripley in order to stop her from harming bystanders and wildlife. Their attempts managed to damage Ripley severely, the alien retreating deep into the forest, where she wasn’t seen on Katilnax again for hundreds of years.
Instead of using her small amount of plants on Katilnax to recover, Ripley used one of her trees to teleport back to District 1 and envelop herself in thick vines for several years. During this time, tree and plant roots also surfaced and did their part to recover the damage done to her body as well as expel the parasite from her. However, the damage done to her mind was not recovered, as the plants used all the energy they could to save her without killing themselves.
When Ripley awoke from this coma-like state, she had forgotten her powers and original being. Though confused as to why she was on this strange planet, Ripley made of it what she could and started searching around for materials to build a shelter, which eventually came to be the cabin she lives in now.
Eventually, Ripley found out about her ability to use trees to teleport, allowing her to access different places that had connections to her past self, leading her to find out more and more about who she was. Each little thing she could find was soon written down and pinned to the walls of her cabin, filling it with notes and theories as to what her origins were and what other powers she had.
In her search to find more information, Ripley had gone back to Katilnax, as it had been fairly close to District 1. Upon going there, she had uncovered ruins of a, to her knowledge, unmapped city. Buildings were toppled down left and right, and a thick fog blanketed the entirety of the city. The first place Ripley had decided to check out there was seemingly some kind of laboratory, where she found old newspapers and written reports of a "monster" that had attacked this city hundreds of years ago. Upon looking deeper, Ripley found that the so-called monster was physically described as Ripley herself was, but with a few extra details, describing the monster as "sickly" or noting that its forearms seemed to be covered in a liquid black substance, along with eyes of the same color. The news reports even stated that the monster was using some kind of electrical power and plants to attack somehow and that the remaining citizens had begun to worship the monster as a god to keep it from coming back and harming them again.
Of course, this set off many red flags in Ripley's mind. Hundreds of years? Even if the thing being written about just happened to be her, she hadn't been alive for hundreds of years, right? She would never just go insane and attack an innocent city, would she? Even despite the questions she had, the resemblance this monster seemed to bear was too frightening, to accurate to deny.
Ripley didn't stay much longer after finding the article, deciding to head back to her cabin and read into it further there.
After many years of research and finding as many news articles and documents of whatever had attacked that city, Ripley recovered some of her powers despite not learning much more of her past. Becoming stumped, Ripley began work on redesigning the interior of her cabin after looking further into human technology and discovering ways to improve it. She used this knowledge to rework a series of customized computers and touchscreens she had retrieved from earth to better document her findings related to her planet and herself. She even started using this technology to search for more in-depth texts and recordings of the monster that had most likely been herself.
When she had finished work on her home, Ripley began to spend time thinking on herself in the present; Up until this point, she had no name due to being in no situations to need one, but with her plans to travel across space to discover new civilizations, Ripley decided to make a name for herself in the end. While thinking of a first name didn't take her much time, she wanted her last name to connect her to her powers in some way. Eventually, she landed on a variation of Blumenthal, which she had learned stands for "flower valley".
