Description
Minor design tweaks and info, also serves as a reference sheetI guess this technically is considered a species more than a character reference sheet, technically not a biological lifeform but has many of the basic functions of one nonetheless
Lore (WARNING: somewhat of a long read)
---------------------------------------------------------
"The initial release design proved to be a successful product, however a lack of experimentation beyond basic hardware testing was a cause for concern as soon as Mk 1s were first loaded onto dropships to prepare to deliver to customers. Upon arrival the initial design was very much functional, however certainly flawed. The odd lack of joints for the feet caused Mk 1 to occasionally stumble and even fall when attempting to walk, potentially damaging internal and external components, depending on the surface.
Ultimately it was decided that Model V be partially redesigned to fix many of the issues brought forward by Mk 1 users.
Most importantly, the feet were overhauled and given joints in order to allow a smoother and more precise walk cycle, along with small grooves and synthetic setae on the undersides for added grip onto smooth surfaces.
Additionally, the face was redone for a somewhat more aesthetically pleasing look. The facial screen has been largely unchanged, however the default eyes were changed from 4 segmentations to 2, the head shape has been slightly remodeled to appear shorter and more rounded, and the paint resembling lipstick has been removed, though it is now an optional feature users can choose to include or add.
Another addition was a storage compartment that can be accessed by either opening the frontal abdominal hatch (not displayed and can only be opened by the AI's software) or by manually unscrewing and removing the thorax from the abdominal connector. The storage compartment can be used for storing small-medium sized dishes, food items, or general litter within a given area, depending on the program's assigned role.
An optional cosmetic hair attachment has been considered."
