i had a look at the monochrome and the original color version of this picture.

i think the monochrome version brings the subject of time better in the foreground, because time is cold, its is blue. not showing consideration for anything, time steps by for everybody, with no exception.

On the other side the original version, golden with its red and purple ruby bearings shows us the good times in live, the happy ones.

Ahhhhhhhhh, i am to philosophical....

Very VERY nice. The color is excellent in this. Monotone is wonderful to get a feel for the piece across to the viewer but you've done an outstanding job capturing the colors.
