Nice work on this. Very surreal and dream-like.
It conveys for me a sense of storm and chaos, yet safety on the path. I don't know where it leads, but I feel compelled to follow.

A dense landscape. It seems that sky and land are in boiling; as much the forms and colors contained here... the only calm space there it is the land road, although to be red as fire, it invites us to follow in front.

I'm so jealous!!!!! It's one of the most beautiful pictures I've seen on here. Like something out of a dream. I would love to run down that path. It feels like faeries and other mystical creatures are just around the corner.

I think what made it special was not so much the fantasy of it but the reality. Knowing that most the world has no idea this place exists and being on top of the mountain (which is where this is) all alone. Just me.. the earth.. and it's creator.

I left the midwest for the first time this June and went to Colorado. All I want in the world now is to live near the mountains. Everything about them is so beautiful, their age, the way erosion has formed them, the way the trees creep up the sides until the elevation is too high.
Every extra detail I learn about this picture makes me love it that much more. It must have been something else to be up there all alone. It sounds like a really spiritual experience. I'm so glad you captured it with your camera.

Blessed shot, Nimai! Both the picture and the description. It left me speechless, really.
I especially like the feel of the bottom of the picture. Dramatic clouds are showstoppers, but here I think the path and the whispy grass surprisingly steals the show. I like the vivid, pastel feel, creating a dream-like effect. Compositionally, it's pretty strong, although I might have included a little more grass to the left. Overall, a lovely mood, and atmosphere. You've captured it well

It did surprise me how beautifully the landscape came out, though I wish I could figure out how to capture it more effectively because you are right, it is pretty amazing. it is all actually bleached a bit lighter then it looks here (from the sun I believe) to a light cream color! You are probably right about more on the left, although it was intentional to fill the bottom of the frame with the path, it may have been better. Maybe I'll take a trip up there this morning!
