Description
Amon woke up as the morning light hit his eyes. He squint his eyes due to the fact that he didn’t like anything bright hitting him, which was why he wore sunglasses. As he yawned and stretched, he got up, and walked to the tree right next him. Underneath the tree were his clothes that he took off last. He grabbed his clothes and changed in to them. As he was about to walk home, he smelled something. It smelled like blood, sweat, tears, and wood. The wood smelled of an ash tree which was carved into a bow for archery. Amon knew that smell from anywhere that it was Diana’s smell. She always preferred a wooden bow over the modern bow and her favorite tree was an ash tree. As he took a long whiff of the smell again, fear came over him for he knew something was wrong. Amon ran to the source of the smell and saw something he didn’t want to see. What he saw was Diana, lying on the floor covered in dirt and blood. Her face was dirty as it was covered with her tears, blood, and dirt. But that wasn’t the only thing he didn’t want to see. Next to her, was a boy around Amon’s age who had a sad expression on his face. The boy had pale skin, black hair, and eyes of silver. He also had piercing on his face and his clothes looked like the one that band Alkaline Trio wore.
“So you finally killed someone in wolf form, huh Amon?” he spoke with a somewhat Boston accent.
The boy name was Dick, but he was mostly known worldwide as Death. Amon didn’t know what to say, all he could do was look at his friend and his beloved on the floor. Tears were threatening to come out but he had trouble holding them back. Dick looked at him with sadness in his silvery moon-like eyes. He got up and walked over to his wolf friend. They stared at each other until Dick gave him a warm hug. With that being done, Amon sank to the forest floor, and held onto his Grim Reaper friend, letting his tears come loose, and started to cry.
“What am I going to do, Dick?, I killed her.” Amon said tearfully.
“I don’t know what to tell you, but you have to come clean. Tell her parents what happened and maybe they’ll understand.” Dick said. In truth, he really didn’t know what to say to his friend. Dick was always used to this situation when someone dies; all he does is take the souls of the dead and send them to heaven or hell depending on the life of the person.
“Nein, I can’t tell them what happened to their daughter, they must not know.” Amon said with tears streaming down his face. Dick sighed and let go of his friend. He stared at Amon and stood up with Amon.
“Amon, it’s either you tell her parents or I’m telling Klaus what happened. Pick your choice.” Dick knew if Amon didn’t tell Diana’s parents what happened to their daughter, the only person who would make Amon tell was his great-grandfather Klaus and Dick knew that Klaus was a powerful and strict person who has control of the Von Krieg family. Amon thought over the two offers given to him, either tell Diana’s parents or face the wrath of his great-grandfather.
“I’m sorry, I can’t do this, Dick” Amon said and ran as fast as he could. As Dick looked on, he walked to Diana’s body, picked her up, and vanished without a trace.
