Description
Okay guys, this is pretty explainable! So apparently there was this TV Tropes
page on Fountain Tears (I call it Waterfall
Tears, cause those tears that characters cry
in some cartoons are like a waterfall) that listed
a skit from Sesame Street called "The Crying
Game Show" as an example in the examples
section. Yet strangely enough, the characters in
that skit don't seem to cry tears like a waterfall or fountain
whatsoever. I mean, they cry but don't shed any
tears! Am I like supposed to use my imagination to
pretend that they're crying in an exaggerated fashion?
NO!!! Talk about ironic, needless to say it didn't
cut it for me. So I opened up good ol' Paint.net
and did some editing to exaggerate the scenes
to make it fitting for the trope in question! Plus, I used
a picture of the Waterfall Tears in action to help myself
out with getting the right effect (consider it modeling
at its finest!).
See what happens when you use the magic
of digital editing, you can exaggerate something
that wasn't cartoony to begin with! And it shows!
Original skit is from Sesame Street,
I just edited the scenes.
P.S. You know I would be rather happy to
give a tutorial on how to pull off this effect,
I could do it much later when I'm ready that is.
I know you're gonna love it once I do it!
