Is that Soundgarden? Funny. I've been hearing the Johnny Cash version (which is cool), and just assumed it was Alice in Chains. You are are right, though, it was Soundgarden.

I agree, the Johnny Cash version is cool. I grew up listening to Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, not to mention the fact that I grew up in Seattle during the height of the Grunge scene, but it's easy to get the two mixed up... trust me, I've mistaken some of Temple of the Dog's songs for Pearl Jam... lol

Yeah, it's interesting that Johnny Cash covered those kind of songs at all. He did a good job, too.

Exactly, he did the opposite of what one expects, which is for younger artists to do covers of older artists. I really respect him for having the open-mindedness and humility to go the other way around.

He must've been a pretty big fan of Soundgarden to go through the effort of playing that song. Who would've thought? I'd like to see other artists to the same thing he did. U'know what I mean?
