oh, i can understand when there's something cool between the routes like a forest and stuff, but since it's a remake don't it take off all the fun to discover stuff? x.x

I just make maps in the same style as Nintendo. They made them with all the locations visible, so so do I.

red is a city and green is a generic point of interest?
and then I think white is a regular rout and blue is one in the water?

Take a look at the maps of Johto and Kanto on Bulbapedia for an idea of what everything is. I think you have it nailed there, though. ^_^
