In the world of Gaia, lived a country called Anderson. A place filled with magic and within the world of magic lies the Magisters the greatest mages in Gaia. Monica Ming, an upcoming mage move to her home village to Eriol, the capital empire of Anderson. There she became one the empire lowest mages and solder of Eriol. One night on patrol on the Empire's Great Wall she spotted something far away from outside the Wall. It was a giant ready to destroy the wall, instead a hammer or a club, the giant used her fists and exploded the wall. Monica used her magic to stop the giant girl, the giant grabbed her and not letting go of Monica. The empire's Magisters came found the giant tries to kill her, however a man on a flying carpet unleash a barrage of fireworks at them. The fireworks blinded them as they can't do anything, but when it stopped the man and the giant girl was gone. Somewhere beneath the kingdom of Thumbland, Monica was in a dungeon cell locked up with no escape. But thankfully she has her W.A.N.D. that wasn't took away and tries to escape. She tried to unlock the lock but failed, but when she tried to believe in herself, she activated her W.I.Z.A.R.D. Mark and perform Chocolate Magic to picked the lock and free herself. As she was almost outside, a mage appeared named Penny Kula challenge her to a magical duel. They battle with Monica using Chocolate magic and Penny using her Poison Magic. Ultimately, Monica won and went outside, only to encounter the giant girl, the man, and six other Specfix magic users. The giant's name is Cammy Gomdrop and the man reveal to be a Salamander named Thomas Pop. The two told Monica that the escape and duel was a test to see if she was the right mage to use Chocolate Magic. Penny continued as she was the current ruler of Thumbland and they wanted her because of an upcoming calamity. Cammy's sister wrote a letter to her when she vanished and in that letter were the names of future Magisters that will stop the Calamity. So Cammy went to work and gather the mages to prevent it, however in order to stop the Calamity from happening they would have to participate in the Magisters Tournament. A tournament that other Magisters compete to win the piece of the Hans Christen, a gemstone of unlimited power. Monica agreed to them and became a Magister of Thumbland, but Monica joining them was only the beginning.
