While he does look better here, his personality in the trailer is so...no.
I know it's a rebirth/reboot/retelling/AU/parallel universe/alternate universe/whatever, but that was painful for me to watch in comparison to his DMC 3 traits.

I think they are both angel and demon born, i just think the hair is a reference to the duel heritage.

I love the new character design (same with Dante's) but I can't look at this and act like it's the same Vergil. Plus I love Daniel Southworth voice for Vergil in DMC3.
But putting all that aside: Yes the new game looks sick and worth giving it a go.

Yeah Dan was awesome as Vergil, though his voice playing this new more cheery Vergil would not have fit to me. still I love this new look and new approach. btw if you want to see funny pics of Dan I posted em on my Gallery. and if you like Dan alot watch his new Web series.

the trailer was showing the relationship between Dante and Vergil. if you recall the old Bio's of Vergil that he was an honorable warrior b4 he wanted more power. this game is a retelling of the original so it might be giving us a glimpse to that side of Vergil we never saw in the original.

I know, but they changed the color of hair to Dante.. Now are brown/black/white, and Vergil is "normal", for this reason I say "are not brothers".. They are identical twins in the original series, not so different..

Yer to mirror the angel/demon aspects of the game. I think it works really well and overall i am really happy with how vergil is turning out.
