Awww! From the description that you gave, that is honestly very depressing ;.; I never thought about it that way.. but I guess it would make logical sense since you tend to try and refresh dead images to bring them back to life. Resuscitation, if you will! *Slapped*
Although they tend to be called "broken images," instead XD But broken how? They are crawling in their skin with wounds that cannot heal.. so maybe that could explain the girl's sorrow.. but I think I'm dissecting this image FAR too much! XD
This is lovely, though.. I think the drawing of the woman is beautiful and detailed and oh-so realistic. I like the eyes and the lips most of all.. the eyes are so shiny as well as the full lips.. you did the nose very well, too ;.; And the way the hair looks makes it look as if she's turning to the viewer all saddened.. before she leaves.. to the heaven of the dead images ;.; Oh, poor woman! *Waves a napkin*
