Description
When I first started doing pony vector art, I used a lot of traces just like this, but I've learned a lot since then and wanted to make an improved set. This time, I'm going to be more methodical and try to get the basic pieces so I can make art and such easier in the future. This is the first in that series. The full trace of the 8 frame female pony run cycle.The file I uploaded is the original Illustrator vector file so you can recolor, re-position or do anything else you want. I want everyone to have it so we can make great pony art together

IMPORTANT EDIT: For those who haven't realized yet, the image you see here is just the JPG preview of the Illustrator file that you can download. If you have Illustrator or a compatible program, you can see the original traces I did and modify each pose. Each one has a separate head, legs, and such so you can custom anything you want!
ALSO: Art style by Lauren Faust, pony poses and such copyright by Hasbro. I didn't realize this would make front page and a lot of people seem not to know that this is a My Little Pony blank.

EDIT 2015.08.19 - I have a zip file with lots of resources that you can download. It wouldn't let me upload it so I had to rename it to an illustrator file, but if you open it as an archive or rename it to a .zip file, it should work.

I don't do much with vectors, but this is useful nonetheless. I'd been using the famous Muybridge photos, but I had to adapt the proportions. Over and over and over. And never bothered to make a nice reference like this.

It's just a show trace, but I worked hard to make the lines as perfectly curved as possible. It can be a very subtle difference at times.

this shall be useful. i don't plan to use the vector itself, but it works great as reference, even if were to make a male or even an alicorn.

Omg, I've been having a lot of issues with leg movements in my animation (noob animator). I have a feeling this will help a LOT. Do you by chance have a walking animation as well?

Actually, I'm working on that RIGHT NOW. It's tougher because the slower action makes it take 25 frames instead of 8. I'll be posting it later today.
