I hope you don't mind i made Kaito a Turquish Agora and Lei a Balinese cat, I just thought they'd be like those breeds becase of their overall personalities and designs Of course that made it so Lei was a bit of a smol bean compared to Kaito, but that ALSO was because, well, since Kaito is obsessive and likes to please people, then Lei can be HIS chill little smol bean ;3 I'm still debating on wether to put a background or not because that will influence how i color and shade these two, and their patterns ae quite difficult to draw and have tons of colors so It's even more complicated '^-^ I'm not used to drawing fur, so i might just end up making it semi-realistic instead of going full on.
