Yes, I know I just raged about a fictional cat, but everything about him and his "loyal fans" ticks me off to no end :/
Because, you know, having a broken heart is a perfect excuse to go off and try to kill you're ex's family.

I'm not a fan of Ashfur. It was never meant to be, but that doesn't mean you go try to kill Squirrelflight's family. -_- If he REALLY loved her, he'd let her go.

Ashfur's fans are too ignorant. They refuse to pay attention to the fact that he's insane and instead proceed blame Squirrelflight for all his suffering. Because, telling a close friend of yours that you're already in love with someone else, and that a relationship between the two of you wouldn't work out is bad.

Ashfur kind of seems like a filler character to me. In the first series his was just some random apprentice, in The New Prophecy he suddenly started hanging out with Squirelflight, and then in the Power of Three, "OH YEAH I'M EVIL NOW JUST THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW!"
And then he suddenly gets instant sympathy >.>
EVEN STARCLAN ISN'T POWERFUL ENOUGH TO DEFEAT THE POWER OF LUUUUURVE!
So Ashfur gets to go to StarClan after trying to murder his ex's family, while Thistleclaw goes to the Dark Forest even though HE'S NEVER DONE ANYTHING WRONG!
