Torturing Poor Mushroom

Description
This is one of my latest creation which took me quite a long time... a week or so. The story is about the devil who came up to the surface of the earth for some pleasure of torturing.. the first thing he founds is a poor mushroom by the road. And he shows no mercyCheck the High Res Image fore some details (two closeups, 40-50% of full image size).

the eyeball, dude... THE EYEBALL makes me die with both envy and joy. The shading around the mushroom's mouth is also spectacular... The texture is so well done that I can almost FEEL it just by looking at it. Awesome, awesome job.

this is beautiful. i love the characters, they have so much personality. also, i love the snails, cause i love snails. they're pretty much my best friends.

This is a wonderful piece. I love the fact that you didn't give him a mouth, that always makes something more interesting, more haunting. The poor mushroom. :c You did a lovely job on his face and the snails. The expression on the mushroom is very precise. A bit confused as to what he did wrong, and trying to remain strong instead of giving in. But you can tell it's getting to him. You have quite a talent!
