BASIC INFO

Name: Alec Richter E. Dyson

BIOGRAPHY

Personality: Alec is a carefree guy. He doesn't really pay much attention to things unless they're staring him in the face or else yelling right next to him for attention. He's friendly and talkative, but he tends to run his mouth a lot. He's actually pretty smart despite his attitude, it's just that he tends to get so caught up or distracted that he talks more and thinks less. He enjoys pokemon battles a lot, and even if his attitude and manner of speaking seem aloof, he's actually very sharp when it comes to commanding pokemon, and his enemies would just be surprised at how he managed to pull off some moves. He's generally quick to forgive, but also expects people to forgive him just as quick, so he sometimes comes off as tactless in that regard.

He's pretty fascinated with rock and steel type pokemon, and names all this pokemon after precious stones and gems. He's also knowledgeable about the underground, fossils, and the like. He keeps a collection of stones, evolution stones or otherwise, at home in Solaceon.

History: Growing up in Solaceon town, he wasn't the busiest person around, so most of his time was spent either playing in the ruins, or helping out in the Solaceon Day Care. Eventually, around his tenth birthday, as per the norm, he learned how to raise pokemon, like the ones he saw being cared for in the daycare, and decided (on a whim) to try his luck in obtaining gym badges and competing in the leagues.

He's visited Kanto, Joto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh throughout the ten years he's traveled, and has the complete set of gym badges in all the regions, and has participated in all the leagues... but has never been a forerunner in any of them; his closest was the top 8 in the Sinnoh league. Rather than move on to the Unova region, though, he decided to relax back in Solaceon, resuming his old duties as a helping hand in the daycare. He still proves his skill in battle against the occasional visitor to the town, to keep his skills from rusting.

After a few years, he decides to visit the Ohana Islands for another 'extended vacation', and goes along to watch the contestants in action and cheer them on.

Jet, Luxray
One of the two pokemon he brings with him to the islands, his Luxray is a proud animal, restless, and eager to battle. Alec brings him along to hopefully teach it how to relax during the trip.

Lapis, Beautifly
The second pokemon Alec takes with him, it's a mild mannered pokemon who is usually peaceful, but like all beautifly attack very aggressively if challenged to a battle.

Battle Style: Alec is actually very adept at using weather conditions to his advantage during battles; his main battle team involves using rain or sandstorms to gain the edge in battles. He's also surprisingly defensive in his tactics, opting to power up his own stats before directly attacking opponents.

Trivia:

- Big fan of rock/steel/ground types.

- The two pokemon he has with him aren't part of his main team.

- He's not exactly a thrifty person, so oftentimes he ends up thinking of how to make up for lost money, and spending it as soon as he gets it.

- He has a camera and is not afraid to use it to take selfies with others
