they never stated they died however since the story has moved on without mentioning them it can be assumed they are dead..... i thought it was bullshit that not a single shinigami died, kubo has a major hard on for those assholes

or did we? maybe he altered our senses with his shikai and then used bankai making us THINK he's using his shikai? :3

possible however i think he used his bankai when he took down all the vizards and soul reapers in one hit, it was all done off screen so. maybe his bankai slows down time for everyone except himself, because each soul reaper had like 20 deep slashes on them and the cuts didnt spurt blood until after he finished his sentence thats extremely fast
